Sara Terry is a documentary and editorial photographer based in Los Angeles. A former print journalist for The Christian Science Monitor, her personal work focuses on issues of social justice and cultural understanding. Currently, she is in the midst of a five-year project, "Aftermath: Bosnia's Long Road to Peace," dedicated to the premise that war is only half the story - that the media must also cover the aftermath of war, with its incredibly challenging tasks of restoring the human spirit and rebuilding civil societies.
